Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING

We aim to dispatch goods per the options shown for each product. The following is a summary of the variables:

Clothing and Accessories

AVAILABILITY: On the whole, most of the products listed are available in stock, unless otherwise specified. Goods that are available immediately will be always sent via suitable carrier on same day upon receiving the payment. Where an item is out of stock we will dispatch in 3-5 working days and inform you by e-mail. If our suppliers are unable to fulfill our requirement within 14 days of the order you will be informed by e-mail and given the option of a refund should a further wait not be satisfactory. The status of your order can be tracked by logging on to your account.

DELIVERY COSTS:

Store pick-up - available

UK Mainland - according to Royal Mail charges (subject to change without notice)

Overseas - according to Royal Mail charges (subject to change without notice)


Where an order of includes a number of items and some are out of stock we will dispatch all available items within 3-5 working days and the balance within 14 days subject to the availability from our suppliers, where upon you will be given the option of a refund of non available items with no carriage liability.


Cycles and Frames

WE ONLY DELIVERY BICYCLES WITHIN NORTH EAST AREA of the UK

Delivery to another areas of the UK - on request only

AVAILABILITY: It is not easy to keep all sizes, colours and models from our cycle manufacturers. All bikes need to be assembled and checked by our Cytech qualified mechanics prior to dispatch. For these reasons where a cycle is in stock or readily available collection will be arranged for within 3 days. On receipt of your order we can immediately check the availability on line with our suppliers and co-ordinate with you.

Delivery will be made by a suitable carrier between 8:30 and 18:00, weekdays only.

RETURNS POLICY

YOUR RIGHTS
Cyclelogical (Newcastle) Ltd has a no quibble refund policy provided the goods are returned in a new unused condition complete with packaging and in a saleable condition. We conform to the Distance Selling Regulations which is designed for your protection. Please follow the instructions below depending on the situation of the return.

CHANGE OF MIND, SIZE, COLOUR ETC

What looks good on screen or a size that normally fits can sometimes be totally different in the “flesh”. Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a 7 day cooling off period during which you can return any purchases without explanation for a refund in full. The goods have to be returned in a new unused condition, not having been fitted or worn (other than trying on for size) complete with packaging and in a saleable condition. We will refund any items returned within 21 days that fit the above criteria. Where goods have been sold on free delivery i.e. the cost of delivery is included in the price we will deduct a restocking fee of £3.20 to cover our delivery costs. The cost of returning the item is the responsibility of the buyer. Please e mail in advance of the return and although no explanation is required any details supplied may of use to future customers.

DELIVERY OF DAMAGED GOODS
No problem, just e mail us with the details and return the items to us. If it is a cycle or a larger item we will arrange for the items to be collected. Once we have received the item and examined it we will replace the goods or process a refund plus the cost of your postage.

FAULTY OR BROKEN GOODS
All goods supplied are sourced from the legitimate importers and thus carry the manufacturer’s warranty. EEC regulations dictate that components must carry a two year warranty against faulty manufacturer, (but not on worn out products). If a problem occurs please e-mail us with the details in order that we may be able to resolve the problem without it being sent back. However if this is not possible please return the item with full details. The return postage cost is the responsibility of the buyer until the fault has been diagnosed as warranty. We may need to return the item to the manufacturer or importer for their opinion before a replacement or refund is instigated, remember we are knowledgeable about the product but they are the experts.
Please return the item in a clean condition, for health and safety reasons anything in our opinion not fulfilling this will be returned untouched.

CUSTOM ITEMS
Wheels build to order or cycles that have had the original specification altered will be classed as custom builds and will attract a 10% restocking charge if returned within the 21 day no quibble refund policy. This is to cover our costs of amending the product before dispatch. Please research the products well before ordering.

TIPS ON RETURNING PRODUCTS

Package the item well to avoid damage on the return journey. It is often worth keeping the original packaging for a while. Make sure the items are in a state you would be happy to receive them in i.e. not covered in grease, oil, mud etc

Enclose a copy of your original invoice/receipt, your name and address, plus full details of the reason for its return.

E-mail us first with details

Use a carriage method that requires a signature. This will cover you should the package go missing in transit. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery! Clearly address the package and put your name and address on the reverse as sender.


WHAT WE WILL DO

Process the return within 48hrs of receipt, except where faulty products need returning to the importer/manufacturer.

Keep you informed of any hold ups in the system.

Acknowledge the receipt of the package on the day it is received.
